TAFE Students Find Success at State, 19 Advance to Nationals

Keller ISD TAFE (Texas Association of Future Educators) students from Timber Creek High and Keller High found great success at last month's 40th Annual Teach Tomorrow Summit, with 19 Falcons now advancing to the National Competition this summer in Washington DC. 

TAFE is a co-curricular statewide Career and Technical Student Organization created to allow young men and women an opportunity to explore the teaching profession. These students are led by Emily Boehringer (TCHS) and Shelly Waggoner (KHS).

Keller High School had two students compete in the TAFE State Summit:

Not only that, but KHS' TAFE students also took on the tough task of competing at FCCLA and successfully advanced to the State Leadership Conference in Dallas, April 12-14. FCCLA at Keller High is led by Clarissa Marchalk.
