Keller ISD will be closed through April 17 due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), per Governor Greg Abbott's public health disaster declaration. All extracurricular activities and school events during this period are also canceled during this period.
With Keller ISD schools closed through April 3 due to COVID-19 precautions, Sodexo – the District’s food service provider – will provide meals for children under the age of 19 at five school sites during the closure. Meals will be served curbside at these five campus sites, and one meal will be provided for each child in the vehicle. Meals will be available from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday through Friday, beginning March 16.
A committee of more than 40 participants – including parents, community members, and teachers from all grade levels, content areas, and specialized programs, along with District administration and support staff – has been meeting to determine the start and end dates, professional development days, and holiday breaks for the 2020-21 school year.
