12 HOSA Students Advance to International Leadership Conference

Keller ISD students participated in the Health Occupations Student of America (HOSA) State Leadership Conference, held April 2-5 in Galveston. 12 out of 40 KISD students who advanced to State qualified for the International Conference.

Students compete in events such as community awareness, job-seeking skills, nursing assistance, medical assistance, cultural diversity and disparities, and family medicine physicians. Fossil Ridge High's Kenneth Tran was named Area 5 President and State Historian, and Kathy Luc, representing KCAL, is Area 5 Vice President.

Congratulations to these talented students! Best of luck at the International Leadership Conference in Houston this June.
