Keller ISD Fusion Robotics Team Advanced to World Championship Competition

Keller ISD Fusion Robotics Team qualified for the World Championships after competing at the FIRST Robotics State Championships on April 3-6 in Houston.

Upon finishing the qualifying round in 19th place out of 43 teams, they were chosen as the top pick of the Eighth Alliance. After suffering a loss in the first playoff round to Alliance 1, they climbed back up through the lower bracket, winning three playoff matches and ultimately landing in the semifinal round, where they placed third in their division. Their outstanding performance earned them enough points to finish 27th out of 191 Texas teams and qualify for the World Championships.

The World Championships will take place on April 17-20 in Houston, where they will compete against 600 teams from the U.S. and around the world.  Congratulations to the Keller ISD Fusion Robotics team!
