The Middle School Band Concert and Sight-Reading Contest for the Region 30 UIL occurred on March 26-27 at Timber Creek High School.

During the contest, the middle school bands performed in the concert and sight-reading portions for a panel of three distinguished judges. The ensembles were rated on a scale from 1st Division (Superior) to 5th Division (Poor). Ensembles that received a 1st Division rating in both the concert and sight-reading portions earned the Sweepstakes Award.
