Pink Out and First Responder Game

Description

The 10th Annual Pink Out game between Central and Keller High School will be held Friday, October 20. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at Keller ISD Athletics Complex.

The Pink Out ceremony will be at halftime and cancer survivors are invited on the field for the check presentation to the Susan G Komen foundation.

This will also be the First Responder recognition night for Keller ISD Athletics, which focuses on honoring the Keller Police Department and Keller Fire and Rescue.

Representatives from both organizations have been invited to join KISD for the coin toss. Additional honored guests will include the families of two first responders that the community recently lost – Keller Fire Fighter David Simmons and Keller Police Captain Brenda Slovak.  Both David and Brenda fought brave, intense battles with Leukemia and Pancreatic cancer. They are both at rest now but not forgotten in the hearts and minds of their comrades, with which they served, and the citizens with which they protected.

As our honored guests, all cancer survivors and first repsonders will receive free admission to the game.
