A fundamental requirement of our return to physical spaces is the cooperation of the whole Keller ISD community with our reopening strategy. Public health necessitates a whole community approach for everyone’s health and safety. We must all have an open mind and show respect, care, and consideration for all of our students, families, colleagues, and community as we follow the requirements of the return and reopening strategy as they are established to slow the spread of the virus among everyone and protect the most vulnerable among us. Thank you for your support in keeping our community safe.
Keller ISD COVID-19 Risk Condition Guidelines After First Day of In-Person Instruction
Click here to view the progress on Keller ISD's COVID-19 Condition Guidance Matrix. Please note that these guidelines were intended to take effect after campuses reopened and taking into account conditions within individual school communities, not the community as a whole. These plans and processes were established when there was a clearer alignment between federal, state, and local public health measurements and supporting data, and the authority for decision-making and discretion has since become more ambiguous. Because of this, Keller ISD is in the process of updating these guidelines to better align with our ever-changing policy landscape. Those interested can continue to access the Condition Guidance Matrix by clicking here, and look for future updates as they are finalized.
Updated 8/7/20. Please note that these protocols are subject to change as the District continues to receive additional guidance, requirements, and new information from health and government officials, and as the condition of COVID-19 spread in our community changes.
