Ms. Hannah Kellar

Hannah Kellar is a graduate from Texas A&M-University Corpus Christi with a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre. At TAMU-CC, Hannah acted in over twenty productions. Some of her favorite roles include Mother Hicks in Mother Hicks, Brutus in Julius Caesar, and Hermione in The Winter's Tale. For her role of Hermione, Hannah was nominated for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival’s Irene Ryan Acting Award.  Hannah has also worked with Missoula Children's Theatre based out of Missoula, Montana. As a Tour Actor/Director for Missoula Children’s Theatre, Hannah traveled through Oregon, Washington, Montana, and Canada teaching and directing students of all ages.  Previously, Ms. Kellar was the theatre teacher/director at Hillsboro Junior High. Under Ms. Kellar’s direction, Hillsboro Junior High placed 1st in One Act Play in 2019 and 2nd in One Act Play in 2018 in their district competition. Ms. Kellar continues to participate in local theatre. In the summer of 2018, Ms. Kellar had the privilege to play Puck in the Plaza Theatre Company’s: Shakespeare in the Park production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. And in September of 2019, Ms. Kellar played the part of Catherine Simms in the Carnegie Player’s Production of The Foreigner. Ms. Kellar is ecstatic to be the 5th and 6th grade theatre teacher at Indian Springs Middle School and is eager to collaborate, grow, and have a fantastic theatre experience with her new students.
