HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)


    In Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Refrigeration Technology I, students will gain knowledge and skills needed to enter the industry as technicians in the HVAC and refrigeration industry or building maintenance industry, prepare for a post-secondary degree in a specified filed of construction management, or pursue an approved apprenticeship program. Students will acquire knowledge and skills in safety, principles of HVAC theory, use of tools, codes, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration equipement.

    I am a first year teacher in the construction technology program. Over the past few years I have been  a maintenance lead  for another local school district but started in construction at a very young age. I have been married to my wife Shannon for 25 years. We have two daughters Rain who is out of school building her career and Faryn who is currently attending Texas State in San Marcos.  In my free time I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
