The Keller ISD Welding program is designed to provide students with Introductory knowledge and skills specific to those needed to enter a career in Welding, or help students prepare for Post-Secondary education. This pathway starts with Introduction to Welding(Shielded Metal Arc Welding FOCUSED, Gas Metal Arc Welding), Welding One(Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, and Flux-Core Metal Arc Welding), Welding Two(Flux-Core Metal Arc Welding and Tungsten Inert Gas Welding), and Practicum of Welding(Intern).  Each class will build a foundation and help students develop skills that will reflect real world scenarios in the workplace. All students will practice a safe work environment in and outside the Metal Laboratory setting. Each student will have a functioning resume as well as gain soft skills that will help each student network and develop their professional portfolio.

    Intro to Welding

This will be my seventh year in education and my third year at Keller. I got into education to help students grow as young men and women, to help instill work ethic and values that will stay with them for their life. I always look to put my students first and will push each student to become better each day. I get excited every year, I get to meet and watch my students grow into young adults. I look forward to meeting each of you and providing my knowledge and skills to pass down to each of you!

    Welding I     I     Welding II

My name is Connor O’Bryan. This is my very first year teaching. I have spent the last five years welding in East Texas, primarily in Production and Structural. Teaching has always been my dream, and welding has been my passion, so I am excited to be able to teach students my passion and see them succeed. In my free time I love to be outdoors, hunting, fishing, cooking, and being with family and friends.
