    James Moore is entering his 17th year in education and joined VRMS after 12 years at Fossil Ridge High School where he taught World Geography, AVID, Special Education, and Physical Education while also serving as the varsity soccer coach. He is married and has 2 children.  He is proud to continue his work in the Panther Pride Feeder Pattern at VRMS.  He attended TCU for his undergraduate degree and received his Master's in Educational Administration from Lamar University. 

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Assessment Administrator/Assistant Principal, Katie Wawak

    Ms. Wawak is entering her 15th year in education. She has served in various roles across the district. She began her career at the middle school level but has since worked with elementary school students. She helped open the district Career and Technical Center for high school students. She is excited about returning to her middle school roots.

    I am Dr. Wendye Barboza and I am thrilled to be a member of the Vista Ridge Middle School family! 
     
    I began my career in education in 1998 as an elementary school teacher in Irving ISD. I graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2017 with a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. I am the proud parent of 2 daughters, both of whom are in college. One plans on becoming a teacher while the other plans a career as an attorney. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two fur babies. We enjoy watching sports, movies and listening to live music, and being with family and friends.
