Keller ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously at its August 3 Special Meeting to adjust the start of the 2020-21 school year to Wednesday, August 26, with the first three days of school to follow an Early Release schedule, with families choice of In-Person Instruction or Remote Instruction, taking effect that day.
This additional week will allow Keller ISD employees more time, prior to students entering the buildings on August 26, to plan, adapt to new safety materials and protocols, and receive training needed for the new school year.
With this change, the deadline for families to select their student’s Instructional Choice was also extended to August 12.
Keller ISD will continue to provide families with back-to-school information at www.KellerISD.net/BacktoSchool. We appreciate our community’s continued patience and understanding as we navigate through this challenging situation.
