KISD Offers Helping Hand to Families; Submit Socioeconomic Form by Oct. 20

Although Keller ISD is continuing to offer free meals to all students for the entire 2021-22 school year, it is still highly encouraged for families to fill out the annual Socioeconomic Form, and the District is offering incentives for those who complete this task by Wednesday, October 20.

Families who typically qualify for a free or reduced lunch program could also qualify for many other programs outside of school, including, but not limited to:

P-EBT program (Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer)
SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
SAT/ACT fee waivers
College application fee waivers
A variety of District and community resources

Additionally, each student who qualifies for this program could help the District qualify for increased state and federal funding and grant opportunities that could result in more staff at campuses and more instructional materials and resources for your child's school.

Families who submit the form by the deadline of Wednesday, October 20, will be entered into a drawing for dinner gift cards, and the Child Nutrition Department will donate a catered lunch to the campus staff to the school with the highest percentage of form submissions.
