    Proud Principal of Heritage Elementary School, Edwina West-Dukes began her journey in Keller
    ISD at Chisholm Trail Intermediate in the fall of 2016. She served as the Assistant Principal of Special
    Programs until the fall of 2018, then named principal at Heritage. Prior to her time in KISD, West-Dukes
    served in various leadership roles for 15 years in Fort Worth ISD. She was an assistant principal at the
    elementary school level from 2012-16, and prior to that, was a literacy coach in FWISD from 2006-12.
    Her educational journey began in Fort Worth ISD as a kindergarten teacher in 2003.

    Mrs. West-Dukes holds master’s degrees in Urban Affairs and Educational Leadership and Policy
    from the University of Texas at Arlington. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Prairie
    View A&M University. Mrs. West-Dukes is passionate about serving the students, families and staff of Heritage. Her commitment to ensuring that every student reaches their full potential is unparalleled.
