Kelli Mills – Intervention Specialist

My name is Kelli Mills and I am the Intervention Support Teacher, IST, here at Liberty.  My job is to provide skill based interventions to students needing more intensive help with reading and math skills.  Students are provided small group interventions daily with a maximum of 5 students per group.  Students who have been through the RTI process through our Student Intervention Meetings, or SIT meetings, must meet our criteria and have parent permission in order to ensure the pull out services are necessary.  The goal is to increase students’ skills through research based interventions and to ensure they reach their highest potential and specific reading and or math goals.
