  • SAT and ACT School Day Testing

Keller ISD is excited to offer both the SAT and ACT during the school day this spring for juniors and seniors.  The ACT will be administered on February 25, 2020 while the SAT will be administered on March 4, 2020.

Students have the opportunity to take one national assessment free of charge.  Should students prefer to take both the SAT and ACT during the school day, the student will be charged $65.00 to cover the cost of one of the exams.  In order to participate in one or both tests, registration is mandatory through the KISD webstore. Registration will open November 18th at 8:00 a.m. and close on January 24th at 4:00 p.m.

Below are the steps families should take regarding these national exams:

    • Decide which national exam your student will take at no charge to the family.
    • Decide whether your child will opt to pay $65.00 to take the second national exam.
    • Visit the KELLER ISD WEBSTORE to register. This step is required if you are taking one or both national exams this spring.
    • If you would like to pay with cash or a check, please pay Mrs. King in the counseling office and she will record your registration at that time. Nothing will be required of you on the webstore.

The SAT and ACT used by U.S. colleges to determine entrance eligibility.  They each measure what students are learning in high school and what they need to know to succeed in college. KISD is excited to offer this opportunity to students during the school day, allowing students to be more comfortable and confident as they test in a familiar place.

To learn more about either of these national exam testing opportunities, please visit the SAT or ACT websites.
