While these are not self-paced courses, students do have a lot of flexibility in time of day and days of the week they must work on their courses. All courses have pacing guides and assignments with due dates.
Yes! Students can work ahead of the pacing guide to accommodate vacations or other commitments. However, all coursework, including the final exam, must be submitted by July 25. No extensions will be granted.
During the summer session, Canvas serves as our official gradebook. Parents are encouraged to become Canvas Observers to monitor student progress. See this link for instructions on how to create your Observer role.
You will not be successful. The amount of work required is the same as an in-person class. Many students find they can complete tasks faster since they are not waiting for others.
