Two New Principals Approved for 2026-27
Keller ISD is excited to announce two new principals for the 2026-27 school year, as the Board of Trustees approved new leaders for Parkview Elementary and Bette Perot Elementary at its regular meeting on Thursday, June 11.
Shayna Llamas has been selected to serve as the new principal at Bette Perot Elementary School.
Ms. Llamas has been the assistant principal at BPES since 2017. She has been with Keller ISD since 2011, starting as a teacher at Lone Star Elementary before transitioning to campus administration at Heritage Elementary. Ms. Llamas began her teaching career in Arizona.
She holds a Bachelor of Elementary Education from Arizona State University and a Master of Educational Leadership from Texas Christian University.
Dr. Kimberly Stevens has been named the new principal at Parkview Elementary School.
She is joining Parkview from KISD’s Sunset Valley Elementary where she has served as assistant principal since 2023. Prior to joining Keller ISD, Dr. Stevens was an assistant principal in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD. She began her teaching career in California, and has also worked in Connecticut and Nevada.
Dr. Stevens holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Baylor University, a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from California State University, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Hartford.
