TSMS Choirs Recognized by Foundation for Music Education

The Foundation for Music Education recently recognized three Trinity Springs Middle School choir ensembles.

The TSMS Varsity Treble Choir and Chamber Mixed Choir were announced as National Winners of the 2024 Mark of Excellence Awards. The TSMS Tenor-Bass Choir was also announced as a Commended Winner of this prestigious award.

"We are honored to have our ensembles recognized for their hard work and dedication to choral singing," said TSMS Choir Director Clinton Ferrie. "We have such amazing kids who work extremely hard and hold themselves to high standards.”

The Mark of Excellence Awards seeks to recognize and award outstanding performance achievements by high school and middle school bands, choirs, and orchestras. The project gathers entries throughout the United States and provides valuable feedback for all entrants. It creates a unique competitive environment that allows ensembles to compare their performance quality to other outstanding groups from across the country. The top 25 percent of entrants are recognized as National Winners, with the second 25 percent named Commended Winners.
