TCHS, KHS TAFE Students Excel at National Competition

Students from Timber Creek High School and Keller High School represented their campus chapters of the Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) at the Educators Rising National Conference, held June 25-29, 2025, in Orlando, Florida.

Educators Rising is a career and technical student organization that prepares its members for a future in teaching or other educational careers. At the national conference, state-level award winners competed in both team and individual competitive events and contests.

Eighteen Timber Creek High School students and three Keller High School students placed in the top 10 of their respective events at the Educators Rising National Conference, competing against more than 3,500 students from across the country. Timber Creek had the largest group of national qualifiers from Texas, with 27 students representing its program.

"This is an outstanding success for our program," said Emily Boehringer, TCHS TAFE sponsor. "I'm so proud of our kiddos! Competing against 3,500 other students, they represented Keller ISD wonderfully."
