Keller Softball Claims Area Title, Advances to Regional Semifinals
The Keller Lady Indians softball team captured the UIL Area Championship, defeating Frenship High School in a best-of-three series to advance to the Regional Semifinals.
After falling 3-1 in Game 1, the Lady Indians bounced back with a 6-5 win in Game 2 and sealed the series with a dominant 12-5 victory in Game 3.
Keller will face the Marcus Marauders in a best-of-three regional semifinal series at Byron Nelson High School (2775 Bobcat Blvd). Game 1 is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, May 8, with Game 2 scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, May 9. If necessary, Game 3 will be played at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10. Tickets will be $6 for adults and $4 for students. Cash only at the gate.
