KHS Girls Soccer Headed to State Championship
Keller High School girls varsity soccer team is headed to the State Championship after defeating Sachse in the UIL Class 6A Division 1 State Semifinal on April 2.
The Indians took on the Mustangs at McKinney ISD Stadium and came away with an exciting 2-1 victory in overtime to earn the program's first trip to the State Championship.
The UIL Class 6A Division 1 Championship is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at Birkelbach Field in Georgetown (2275 N. Austin Ave.), and KHS will face Round Rock, which topped Summer Creek in the other semifinal on Friday night.
