FRHS, KHS Advance to State UIL One-Act Competitions

Fossil Ridge High School and Keller High School have earned spots in the UIL One-Act Play State Contest, placing them among the top eight 5A and 6A productions in Texas, respectively.

In the 5A division, Fossil Ridge’s powerful performance of "Antigone" has continued to impress judges throughout the competition, earning multiple superlative honors for its cast and crew. This marks their first return to the state stage since 2011. They will perform on Tuesday, May 20, at the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center.

In the 6A classification, Keller High School advances to the State Contest with its beautifully moving production of "Silent Sky." Central High School was recognized as the Alternate, a notable distinction in the highly competitive field. Keller will take the stage on Wednesday, May 21, also at the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center.

Congratulations to both schools on this outstanding achievement, and break a leg at State!
