KISD High Schools Stay Put in UIL Realignment

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) released its reclassifications and realignments in football, basketball, and volleyball for the 2026-28 competition years, with little change for Keller ISD's high schools.

Central, Keller, and Timber Creek high schools will remain in District 4-6A for all sports and compete against the three Northwest ISD high schools – Northwest, Nelson, and Eaton – along with Boswell and Carroll.

Fossil Ridge will remain in District 3-5A Division 1 for football, with a few new district opponents. Returning to the district with the Panthers will be Azle, Denton, and Denton Ryan. They will now be joined by Chisholm Trail, Saginaw, and Sherman.

For basketball and volleyball, Fossil Ridge will once again be in District 5-5A with Azle, Chisholm Trail, Brewer, and Saginaw. They will now be joined by Argyle and Eagle Mountain.

These alignments will take effect with the beginning of the 2026-27 school year. Alignments for all other events will be released later this spring.
