KISD Athletes Qualify for Regional Track and Field Meets

It was another strong showing for Keller ISD track and field athletes, as competitors from Central High School, Keller High School, Timber Creek High School, and Fossil Ridge High School earned spots in their respective Regional meets.

Last week, Central, Keller, and Timber Creek competed at the 3-6A/4-6A Area meet held at Northwest ISD’s Texan Stadium, while Fossil Ridge athletes traveled to Aledo High School for the 5-5A/6-5A Area meet. Top finishers at each location punched their tickets to the UIL Region 1 Championships.

6A qualifiers from CHS, KHS, and TCHS will advance to the Region 1-6A meet, scheduled for April 18-19 at Maverick Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas at Arlington. Tickets can be purchased online. Tickets are $10 for adults and $10 for students each day.

Fossil Ridge, competing in Class 5A, will head west on April 18-19 to Lowrey Field at Plains Capital Park in Lubbock for the Region 1-5A meet. Tickets can be purchased online. Daily admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students.
