Keller ISD Welcomes New Executive Director of Finance Sharhonda Boyd

Keller ISD is pleased to announce that Sharhonda Boyd has been selected to serve as Keller ISD’s Executive Director of Finance. Her hiring was approved by the KISD Board of Trustees at its September 24 Regular Meeting.  

Ms. Boyd brings extensive experience in school finance, accounting, and grants management to Keller ISD. She currently serves in Fort Worth ISD as the Director of Grants Management. Prior to joining FWISD, she held the same position with Dallas ISD, where she began her service in 2015.

Ms. Boyd began her career in public education in 2009 as an Accountant with Duncanville ISD and later served as a Senior Accountant with DeSoto ISD. 

Chief Financial Officer Pam Stranathan shared, “Sharhonda brings extensive school finance experience and a strong understanding of grants management to this role. Her work in districts across North Texas will be valuable as we support campuses, manage resources responsibly, and serve Keller ISD students, staff and families.”

Ms. Boyd earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Texas Woman’s University. She also holds a Master of Science in Accountancy and a Master of Business Administration, both from the University of Phoenix-Texas.

She will begin her new position in October.
