Keller ISD Welcomes Back Sandy Garza as New Executive Director of HR

Keller ISD is pleased to announce that Sandy Garza has been selected to serve as Keller ISD’s Executive Director of Human Resources.  

Her hiring was approved by the KISD Board of Trustees at its July 23 Regular Meeting.  

Garza is no stranger to KISD’s Human Resources Department, having worked as Director of Human Resources for nine years prior to departing in 2021. Since that time, she has served as Director of Human Resources for the Town of Westlake and Westlake Academy.  

“I am excited for Ms. Garza to return to Keller ISD,” said Chief Human Resources Officer Johjania Nájera said. “She brings a wealth of experience in leadership, collaboration, and support in all areas of human resources. I am confident she will continue the exceptional work our team does to support our campus leaders, students, and families.”  

Garza began her career in human resources at the University of Texas Medical Branch, later also serving Coast Bend College and Denton ISD. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Sul Russ University.  

She will begin her new position in August.
