Keller ISD Divers and Swimmers Excel at UIL District Championships, Advance to Regionals

Keller ISD divers competed in the District 4-6A Swim and Dive Championship in late January at the Northwest ISD Natatorium, with six divers and 42 swimmers advancing to the UIL Region 1-6A Diving Championship on February 6-7 in Midland.

The Keller High School boys and girls teams placed second overall, with Ella McWhorter named Girls Athlete of the Meet, Adam Huynh earning Boys Athlete of the Meet honors, and Jason Lovell recognized as Coach of the Meet. Both Central High and Timber Creek High School teams finished sixth and seventh in the district, respectively.

The Fossil Ridge High School swim team competed in the 7-5A District Championship in late January at the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Natatorium. The boys' team finished fifth overall, and the girls' team placed seventh. Fossil Ridge swimmers will advance to the Regional Championship on February 6-7 at the Mansfield ISD Debbie Weems Natatorium.
