Keller ISD Announces 2024-25 District Teachers of the Year, Outstanding Campus Administrators

Keller ISD Announces 2024-25 District Teachers of the Year, Outstanding Campus Administrators

Keller ISD is excited to announce Kimberly Harris, a math teacher at Trinity Meadows Intermediate, as its 2024-25 Elementary Teacher of the Year and Fossil Hill Middle School social studies teacher Azie Kay Russell as its Secondary Teacher of the Year.

The District celebrated all Campus Teachers of the Year at a special event on April 10. Each of Keller ISD’s 42 campuses named a Teacher of the Year for their school, and after an application review process, five elementary (PreK-6) and five secondary (7-12) teachers were named Finalists.

The District Teachers of the Year were selected after interviews with District administrators and past honorees. Harris and Russell will now go on to represent Keller ISD in the Region 11 Teacher of the Year contest.

In addition, the 2024-25 Outstanding Campus Administrators were honored. Earlier this year, Keller ISD staff nominated principals and assistant principals in three recognition categories – Champion, Impact, and Rookie of the Year. Congratulations to each of the finalists and honored administrators!
