11 KISD High School Bands Earn Top Honors at UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Contest

The Keller ISD Fine Arts Department is proud to announce the outstanding performances of the KISD high school bands at the Region 30 UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Contest held March 27-28 at Chisholm Trail High School.

The competition showcased the exceptional talent and commitment of high school bands from KISD and surrounding districts. Each band performed for a panel of three judges, receiving evaluations for both their prepared concert selections and their sight-reading ability. Band performances were rated on a scale ranging from 1st Division (Superior) to 5th Division (Poor).

KISD is particularly proud to announce that 11 bands received the "Sweepstakes" award. This prestigious honor is bestowed upon bands that earn a 1st Division rating in both the concert and sight-reading portions of the competition.
