Education Foundation Launches O.N.E. Fund for KISD Teachers, Students
The Keller ISD Education Foundation is thrilled to announce the official launch of its newest giving platform – the O.N.E. Fund.
Standing for "Ongoing Needs and Essentials," the O.N.E. Fund is designed to support Keller ISD student and teachers during the current Texas public school funding crisis. This special fund allows the Keller ISD community to make a direct impact on classrooms, with donors having the option to contribute to specific areas about which they are passionate.
The O.N.E. Fund comprises four main buckets of giving, ensuring that every need has a place to be met:
- Fine Arts Assistance
- Literacy Initiatives
- Science & Technology
- Special Programs & Resources
In addition to these categories, donors can also choose to contribute to a fifth bucket, which allows the Foundation to allocate funds where they are most needed.
The O.N.E. Fund was first announced at the 2024 Rooted Gala, where long-time supporters Soan & Staci Harris made the inaugural donation of $100,000. Since this generous contribution, the Foundation has raised an additional $50,000, enabling it to begin supporting classrooms through the O.N.E. Fund for the 2024-25 school year.
Every dollar given through the O.N.E. Fund will go directly into classrooms to address ongoing needs as they arise. Funding these needs requires an ongoing commitment from the community. The Education Foundation invites small businesses, Keller ISD families and alumni, and larger corporations to join us in this critical mission. Your support is essential to ensuring Keller ISD schools have the resources they need, especially during this challenging time.
