CHS Social Studies Teacher Selected as Final Star Educator for 2025-26

Keller ISD is thrilled to recognize Central High School Social Studies teacher Kyndel McAdoo as the final recipient of the Keller ISD Star Educator Award for the 2025–26 school year. She was nominated by KISD Social Studies Coordinator Erica Parnell and honored during the May 14 Board Meeting for her immediate and lasting impact in her first year in the district – truly exemplifying what it means to inspire curiosity, nurture growth, and lead with heart.

Teaching both World Geography and U.S. History, Ms. McAdoo fosters an engaging and supportive classroom environment through energetic, creative, and purposeful instruction. By incorporating hands-on and interactive learning strategies, she helps students confidently engage with challenging content and actively participate in the learning process.

As part of the recognition, Ms. McAdoo will receive $500 to invest in additional instructional resources for her classroom.

The Keller ISD Star Educator Award honors exceptional teachers who spark curiosity, cultivate growth, and leave a lasting impression on students through innovative instruction and meaningful relationships. Ms. McAdoo’s passion for student engagement and commitment to creating a supportive learning environment make her a shining example of the qualities celebrated with this award.
