Caprock Elementary Welcomes New Principal

Caprock Elementary Welcomes New Principal
Keller ISD is excited to announce that Ricardo Alvarez has been selected to serve as the new principal at Caprock Elementary School. The Board of Trustees approved his appointment during a special meeting on June 25.
Mr. Alvarez is joining Caprock from M.H. Moore Elementary in Fort Worth ISD where he has been serving as principal since 2021. He began his teaching career as a bilingual teacher in Tyler ISD before transitioning into campus administration for that district. Prior to working in education, Ricardo worked as an engineer.
"From the first conversation we had with Mr. Alvarez, I knew he would be a great addition to our Keller ISD team,” KISD Assistant Superintendent Dr. Airemy Caudle said. “He brings with him to Caprock experience and success in building a strong community and successful academic environment. CES will be in excellent hands with his leadership.”
Mr. Alvarez holds a Bachelor of Science in Material Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar, Caracas, Venezuela, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler.
