Campbell, Erickson and Kelly Win Board of Trustees Seats
Keller ISD held its 2025 Board of Trustees election on Saturday, May 3. Randy Campbell, Jennifer Erickson, and Chelsea Kelly were elected to Place 1, Place 2, and Place 3, respectively.
More than 98,564 ballots were cast across Tarrant County in this spring's general elections, and more than 43,000 votes were collectively cast in the KISD's Trustee Elections.
For Place 1, Campbell received 52.07% of the votes, 7,758 in total, compared to Marissa Bryce's 3,741 votes (25.41%) and Scott Bruce's 3,222 votes (21.89%).
For Place 2, Erickson received 7,717 votes, a 52.39% share of the votes in that race, compared to Jade Holbrook's 3,995 votes (27.12%) and Joni Shaw Smith's 3,018 votes (20.49%).
For Place 3, Kelly received 8,770 votes, a 60.45% share of the votes, compared to Nikki Paris' 3,923 votes (27.04%), Ed Duncan's 1,313 votes (9.05%), and Phil Perez's 503 votes (3.47%).
It will be Campbell and Erickson's first time serving on the Board. Kelly is returning after being placed in the position in August to serve the remainder of the previous term. The new Trustees will be sworn in at a Special Meeting on Wednesday, May 14, and their first Regular Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 15 (moved from the originally planned May 22 due to that date falling on the last day of school).
