Board Approves New Asst. Supt. of Elementary Education, Director of C&I, KCA Principal

Keller ISD is excited to announce that its Board of Trustees has approved the hiring of a new Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Education along with a Director of Curriculum and Instruction and the principal at Keller Collegiate Academy.  

Dr. Airemy Caudle has been approved as the district's new Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Education

Dr. Caudle most recently served as the Chief Academic Officer for Godley ISD, where she led districtwide initiatives. She began her administrative career at Arlington ISD and later served as a principal in Hillsboro ISD, Cleburne ISD, and Castleberry ISD. Dr. Caudle began her teaching career at Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD as a fifth-grade teacher.  

She earned her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas and her Master of Educational Administration along with her Superintendent Certification from the University of Texas at Arlington.
 

 

Shannon Crawford has been approved as the district’s new Director of Curriculum and Instruction.

Crawford has been serving as the district's Secondary Literacy Coordinator since 2022. Prior to joining Keller ISD, she served in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD as an instructional coach. Crawford began her teaching career at Colleyville Heritage High School.

She earned her Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington and holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education from Baylor University.
 

 


Josh Boyd has been approved as the Principal of Keller Collegiate Academy.

Boyd has served as interim principal since the beginning of the school year and has been part of the KCA leadership team since it opened in 2021 as assistant principal. He also recently served as assistant principal at the Keller Center for Advanced Learning. Before coming to Keller ISD, Boyd spent 18 years as a music educator serving as a band director in Coppell ISD, Ector County ISD, and Lamesa ISD. 

He earned his Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at the Permian Basin, and he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Hardin-Simmons University.
