Board Approves New Administrators, Including TCHS, TMIS Principals
Keller ISD is proud to announce two new campus principals and three new administrative hires approved by the KISD Board of Trustees on Thursday, May 15.
The District has chosen Christina Benhoff to be the next Principal at Timber Creek High. A Keller ISD resident, she joins the Falcon family after serving as the Principal at Carroll High School since 2022.
Prior to her time at CHS, Benhoff was an Assistant Principal at several Carroll ISD campuses, including Carroll Senior High School, Carroll High School, George Dawson Middle School, and Walnut Grove Elementary School. She began teaching and coaching in Carroll ISD after moving from Missouri where she began her educational career teaching math and coaching in the Raymore-Peculiar School District.
“Mrs. Benhoff leads with a commitment to academic excellence, an enthusiasm for students, and dedication to staff and parents,” Assistant Superintendent Leanne Shivers said. “As she is already a member of the Keller ISD community, we’re excited to see her family join KISD leadership for years to come.”
Benhoff holds a Bachelor of Mathematical Studies from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri.
Sydney Bramer will be the next Principal at Trinity Meadows Intermediate. She has been serving as the Academic Dean at Keller High School since 2022 and also has been the Academic Associate at Timberview Middle School and an Assistant Principal at Fossli Hill Middle School.
After beginning her teaching career in Brazosport ISD, Ms. Bramer began serving in educational administration in 2010 as the Academic Associate at Timberview Middle School. She also later served as an Assistant principal at Fossil Hill Middle School.
“Mrs. Bramer has an enthusiasm for education and is dedicated to ensuring students, staff, and families are connected and successful,” Shivers said. “We’re excited to have her join Trinity Meadows Intermediate as the next principal.”
Bramer earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and her Master of Educational Leadership from Concordia University.
Dr. NaMicha Williams has been selected to serve as the Executive Director of Human Resources.
Dr. Williams has been the Principal at Fossil Hill Middle School since 2021. Prior to leading FHMS, she served as the Academic Dean at Fossil Ridge High School for five years. She joined Keller ISD in 2014 as an Assistant Principal Intern at Hillwood Middle School after serving as an English Language Arts teacher in Fort Worth ISD.
“Dr. Williams brings a wealth of experience in leadership, collaboration, and secondary education to the Human Resources Department,” Chief Human Resources Officer Johjania Nájera said. “I am confident she will continue the exceptional work the Human Resources team does to support our campus leaders, students, and families.”
Dr. Williams holds a Master of Arts Education Administration from Texas Christina University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management from Hampton University (Vir.).
Brandy Crow has been selected to serve as the new Director of Language Programs. Since 2018, she has served as the District’s Coordinator of Learning – World Languages.
Crow began her educational career as a Spanish teacher in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD in 2003. She joined Keller ISD in 2008 teaching Spanish at Trinity Springs Middle School before transitioning to the district-level position of Facilitator of World Languages.
“Brandy is a dedicated instructional leader who consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to supporting teachers and campuses,” Assistant Superintendent Jennifer Price said. “As a collaborative team player, she contributes to a positive culture focused on student achievement and continuous improvement.”
Crow earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish with a minor in Secondary Education and her Master of Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas.
Dr. Lisa McDaniel has been selected to serve as a Director of Special Education.
She has been a Special Education Coordinator with Keller ISD since 2021. She initially joined Keller ISD as a Diagnostician in 2012 after serving as a Special Education teacher in Fort Worth ISD.
“With 13 years of experience in Keller ISD – nine as a Diagnostician and four as a Coordinator – Dr. McDaniel brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of our students’ needs,” Executive Director of Special Education Lynn Jameson said. “Her strong leadership and commitment to excellence make her the ideal candidate for this role.”
Dr. McDaniel received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University, her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Tarleton State University, and her Doctor of Philosophy in Special Education from Texas Woman’s University.
