Board Approves District, Campus Administrative Hires
Keller ISD’s Board of Trustees, at its July 25 Regular Meeting, approved the hire of a new Director of Health Services and new principal hires for Heritage Elementary and Woodland Springs Elementary, which joins the recent hire of a new Director of Student Services.
Keller ISD’s new Director of Health Services is Jodi Webster. Webster comes to the District from Medical City Healthcare where she has been serving as the Division Director of Quality. She began her health services career as a Staff Nurse at Medical Center of Lancaster and later served as a Case Manager for Integra Hospice.
“I am excited for Jodi to lead the Health Services team,” said Assistant Superintendent Dustin Blank. “She brings to the department a wealth of experience in leadership, collaboration, and strategic planning. I am confident that she will continue the exceptional work the Health Services team does to support our students and families.
Webster holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and is wrapping up her Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University.
Kimberley Paul will take over as the next Principal at Heritage Elementary. She has most recently been working as an Assistant Principal at Basswood Elementary.
A Keller ISD veteran, Paul has been with the District since 2007 and has held administration positions at North Riverside Elementary, Ridgeview Elementary, and Woodland Springs Elementary.
“Kim is a fantastic addition to the Heritage community,” said Assistant Superintendent Kevin Hood. “She is a calm leader who is deeply committed to student achievement and growth. Her passion for public education, her dedication to building a strong community, and her genuine heart for students all make her an invaluable asset to the school.”
Paul taught in Arlington ISD prior to joining Keller ISD, and she holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Denton and a Master of Educational Leadership from Texas Christian University.
Beatrice Rivera was selected to be the next Principal at Woodland Springs Elementary, joining the school after three years as the Assistant Principal at Whitley Road Elementary School.
Prior to beginning her administrative career, Rivera taught in Fort Worth ISD.
“I am thrilled to welcome Bea to the Woodland Springs community,” KISD Assistant Superintendent Kevin Hood. “With her extensive knowledge and experience, she is a valuable addition to our group of principals. She is a systems thinker who is deeply passionate about public education, and she is passionately dedicated to the well-being of students.”
Rivera holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Advertising from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Educational Leadership from Texas Christian University.
In addition to these hires approved on July 25, Keller ISD also recently named Trevor Crawford as a new Director of Student Services for the District.
Crawford served as the Principal at Trinity Springs Middle School this past school year and was an Assistant Principal at Heritage Elementary the year before that. He joined Keller ISD from Arlington ISD, where he served as an assistant principal for three years and was a teacher for 10 years in Birdville ISD before transitioning to an administrative role.
“We are excited to welcome Trevor Crawford to the Student Services team,” said Assistant Superintendent Lindsay Moncrief. “Trevor’s administrative work in our district has revealed his desire and ability to build relationships with students, families, and staff. Mr. Crawford exudes positivity and a can-do attitude in all aspects of his work.”
Crawford holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University and a Master of Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington.
