Board Approves 2025-26 Budget, Raises for All Employees

Keller ISD’s Board of Trustees unanimously approved, at a June 26 Special Board Meeting, a $348.3 million budget in the General Fund for the District’s 2025-26 fiscal year, including salary increases for all employees.

The 2025-26 budget anticipates just over $348.4 million in revenue, using a conservative 94% attendance projection. Revenue received from the state is determined, in part, by the District's average daily attendance, requiring school districts to budget based on unknown attendance figures.

Included in this year’s budget are salary increases for all KISD employees. That includes House Bill 2 salary increases of $5,000 for classroom teachers with five or more years of experience and $2,500 for classroom teachers with three or four years of experience. All other teachers and district employees will receive a 3% salary increase.

Keller ISD’s community is encouraged to continue to advocate for the District and public school funding in Texas by contacting your state elected officials between now and the beginning of the 90th Texas Legislature in 2027.
