32 KISD Students Advance to HOSA State Competition
Students from all four KISD high schools and the Keller Collegiate Academy participated in the HOSA (Future Health Professionals) Area 5 Competition, which was held January 17-18 in Mansfield at the Ben Barber Innovation Academy.
Keller ISD had a successful showing with 48 students placing in the top five and 32 advancing to State in their respective categories. The HOSA State Competition will be held April 29-May 1 in Round Rock, Texas at the Kalahari Resort.
HOSA-Future Health Professionals is a global student-led organization, whose mission is to promote career opportunities in the health industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.
