"I was a student at Keller ISD from fourth grade until I graduated in 2019. I attended Tarleton State University, obtained my Bachelor's in Elementary Education, and student taught for a year in Fort Worth ISD. During my student teaching, I felt so grateful for the experience I was getting, but I always knew that eventually, I would come back home to Keller ISD.

During my time as a student at Keller ISD, I remember three amazing teachers who shaped me into who I am today as an educator. Samantha Pruitt, Lianna Gantz, and Adam Powers. Mrs. Pruitt, Mrs. Gantz, and Coach Powers did such an amazing job inspiring me to be a lifelong learner and eventually a teacher through their ability to form authentic relationships with their students!

As a teacher now, I get to work at Whitley Road Elementary and my goal each year is to form those same relationships with my students and return the excellent experience I had as a student so I can inspire my students just like my teachers did for me."
