"Keller ISD raised me and gave me the privilege of learning from incredible educators and mentors – Mrs. Harvey, Mrs. Gantz, Mrs. Baggett, Mrs. Schickedanz, just to name a few – who shaped who I am today. As a student, I was active in extracurriculars and discovered the value of servant leadership – a principle that still guides me. When the chance came to serve the District in my dream career, I knew it was the perfect way to give back. Thanks to the foundation Keller ISD provided me, along with a scholarship I was granted by the KISD Education Foundation, I’ve been able to pursue higher education, earning my bachelor’s from UNT, working toward my MBA, and planning to pursue a Doctorate in Business. None of this would have been possible without my KISD education.

I feel deeply connected to Keller ISD, inspired by my mom’s more than 20 years of service and her passion for the work she does. I always dreamed of working here – although at first, I thought it would be as an educator – but after changing my degree to business, I never expected to join the Administration office. I’m grateful for the incredible mentors and supportive colleagues in Human Resources who have helped me grow professionally. Their dedication inspires me daily, and I hope to one day serve the District in an even greater capacity. It’s truly a full-circle moment from August 2005 to now."
