"My first-grade teacher at Liberty Elementary was such an inspiration to me. It was both of our first years in Keller ISD, and little did I know at the time that she would spark my dream of becoming an educator just like her. Keller ISD has always given me a true sense of home, where I’ve felt loved, seen, and safe. After attending the University of Arkansas, I began searching for where my next home would be. With my family in Keller and the rewarding experiences I’d had in KISD, I decided to attend the job fair, beginning my journey as an educator in Keller ISD. I taught first grade last year, and now I’m teaching kindergarten. I’ve loved continuing my journey in the same school district – it truly feels like home, and my love for teaching continues to grow every day."
