"When I left journalism and became a teacher, my goal was always to return to Keller ISD. For starters, I inherited my parents home and live in the same spot, in the district, that I did for 18 years growing up. Second, after teaching in a few school districts, I knew KISD was an ideal teaching home. As a debate teacher, I have enjoyed mentoring students from the same area I grew up in, and loved the growth in the program through competition and success."
