"Keller is home. I moved here in the middle of my fifth-grade year and quickly built lasting friendships at BCI. At Keller Middle, I discovered my passion for music and fell in love with playing the flute – a passion that only grew as marching band became my world at Keller HS. My husband also grew up in Keller and has spent his entire teaching career in the district. After teaching in a neighboring district, he encouraged me to return home, and I’m so grateful I did because I had the privilege of teaching at the same elementary school my husband attended as a child – a full-circle moment that made my journey even more meaningful. Though I’m teaching at a different KISD campus this year, my hope remains the same: as a fourth-grade teacher, I want my students – past, present, and future – to experience the same sense of joy, passion, and community that made my time in Keller ISD so special."
