"I wanted to come back and work at Whitley Road Elementary, where I attended because of the lasting impact my teachers had on me, especially my first-grade teacher, Miss Campbell, and my fourth-grade teacher, Miss Hunt.

Miss Campbell made my first year in Keller ISD feel safe, exciting, and welcoming. She helped me build confidence at a young age and made learning something I looked forward to every day. Her patience and encouragement set the tone for how I viewed school, not just as a place to learn, but as a place where I belonged.

Miss Hunt continued that impact in fourth grade by challenging me academically while still making me feel supported. She pushed me to think critically, work hard, and believe in my abilities. She saw potential in me and helped me grow both as a student and as a person.

Because of teachers like them, I experienced firsthand how powerful a positive, caring educator can be in a child’s life. I wanted to return to this district to give back to the same community that helped shape me. My goal is to create that same sense of belonging, encouragement, and high expectations for the next generation of students, just like Miss Campbell and Miss Hunt did for me."
