I have deep roots in Keller ISD, having come here as a student when I was 10 years old and attending schools in other states as well. I even worked as a substitute teacher for KISD in 2006. Over the years, I gained extensive experience in Early Childhood Education in various roles. I moved back to this area in 2010 when I was pregnant with my daughter because I wanted to raise her in a familiar place and have fond memories here. I joined KISD as a para in a STACC classroom at Timberview Middle, where I discovered my passion for teaching Special Education and worked to earn my certification. I love my job, my students, and I feel incredibly supported by the amazing coworkers, classroom team, and administration at Caprock Elementary, who encourage me every day to be the best teacher I can be.
