"My first year teaching was in 1999 in NWISD, only because I couldn't get an interview anywhere in Keller while going through alternative certification. I tried again the next year and got several Keller job offers! I've been at Park Glen Elementary for 24 years now and wouldn't change a thing.

I wanted to teach in Keller because I had a wonderful experience at Keller High School (back when it was the ONLY Keller high school) after nine years at a Catholic school. Keller is the only school district I knew, and we even moved our family into KISD a few years after I started teaching at Park Glen so that we could raise our kids in Keller schools. My three kids went through PGE, PHIS, HMS and CHS and all had amazing experiences."
