"I wanted to return to Keller ISD because Keller was my hometown – I was raised here. My mom was working at Florence Elementary School at the time, so I guess you could say it's a family tradition! I also wanted my young daughters to experience the same small-town country living (yes, Keller was still a small town back then!) and attend the same schools I had grown up in. The hours were another bonus, allowing me to spend time with my kids when they were out of school. Then Janie Casey – a longtime family friend and my 7th grade counselor at KMS – sealed the deal when she mentioned a position she thought I would be perfect for in Keller ISD. And so my journey with Keller ISD began.”
