The State of Texas's 89th Legislative Regular Session will run from January 14-June 2, 2025.

Keller ISD continues to pay close attention to activity in Austin and how it may impact the District and Texas public schools.

Check back soon as Keller ISD finalizes its legislative priorities for the session, and stay engaged by advocating for the district and public education with your elected officials.  

The Texas Constitution states that “a general diffusion of knowledge being essential to the preservation of the liberties and rights of the people, it shall be the duty of the Legislature of the State to establish and make suitable provision for the support and maintenance of an efficient system of public free schools.”
