2024 Board of Trustees Election

Keller ISD's 2024 Board of Trustees Election was held Saturday, May 4, 2024. Place 6 and Place 7 on the Board were up for election.  

  • Filing for Place on the Ballot Opens | January 17, 2024
  • Deadline for Filing for Place on the Ballot | February 16, 2024
  • Deadline to Register to Vote | April 4, 2024 
  • Early Voting | April 22-April 30, 2024
  • Election Day | May 4, 2024

Keller ISD's Board of Trustees has also filled Place on the Board by appointment. Applications from interested individuals were accepted June 20-30 and available candidates were interviewed during a Special Board Meeting on Wednesday, July 24. The Board announced on Thursday, July 25, that it would appoint Chelsea Kelly to Place, and she was sworn in at a Special Meeting on Friday, August 9.

Qualifications required to serve as a Keller ISD Trustee 
Current state law requires a candidate for trustees of an independent school district to be a qualified voter by the time required, as prescribed by Election Code Section 141.001.
